Expected trail conditions: These are the winter days you will remember! Frigid all last weekend, topped by the most single storm snowfall in many years, dry and light and no rain in sight!! A cold week and lots of skiing for your last week in January. With the snow so light and dry expect primarily soft conditions especially early in the week. Classic technique recommended.

    -  Silver Fox Trail, North and South Loops: Machine made snow base and packed powder, groomed daily for skate and classic. South loop in progress with a few whales left for monday, Likely all flat on Tuesday. North loop is in fine shape and everyone’s fave, The Wall ready this week. Expect college teams training on Thursday with a full classic course set and Race closures on Friday and Saturday. We will likely have the Foxes open in the afternoon Friday and Saturday.

    - Garipay/Golf Course: Groomed as and when needed for skate and classic. UTV machines are preparing the surface and you may see the snowcat out there if we get the base to set up. Garipay Snowmaking pilot project update, the Fan Gun has arrived and as time and temps allow, we will be putting that machine to use.

    - Upper Oak Hill Trails: Grooming will continue this week for lovely classic and skate. Tracks set with the snowcat on Monday morning. Get out there and feel the soul!
